Episode 29 - Maid In Akihabara




This week I take a look at the anime and otaku related Japanese drama, Maid In Akihabara which is available via fansub. I also talk about being sick, finishing Hikaru No Go, having a rough time tracking down a copy of Advent Children, and play a bunch of voicemail and listener reviews.     I actually wasn't into tennis, but I actually enjoyed Prince of Tennis a great deal, despite the excess SD-filler episodes. It's like watching shounen but instead of all these new powers, they have new tennis moves. Also, the heroes actually lose occasionally and learn a little humility.

    And now I'm actually interested in tennis. Go figure...

    So now I've watched all six episodes of Maid in Akihabara, it was fantastic. Hime is my favorite.

    Awesome, I'm glad you dug Maid In Akihabara. I might have to check out Prince Of Tennis one of these days. I've heard a lot of good things about it, but I'm still skeptical. :)
